Oh yeah, this. I agree that it's a good album, one of the ones I grew up with a little and have kept some love for. Without really checking, I believe there's a little bit of a concept in there too, which is pretty cool. I should listen to it again soon. - Clever Nickname wrote:
blue train - john coltrane I actually picked up a Coltrane recording similar to the original album two weeks ago (at least, I think, I'm still trying to find my place in jazz really). I like it, and I've listened to quite a few times already. I like it when the artists get together, but I could do with a more solo-ey one too. I'll look out for it.

Yeah, they worked with a Japanese animator, Leiji Matsuomoto (I think I spelled that right) and made an anime house musical out of the album. One of my favourite films of all time, it blows my mind every time.

| Some of my favorite albums of all time, I can't just chose one.
Porcupine Tree- Deadwing Mastodon- Crack The Skye (best album of 2009 definately) Opeth- Blackwater Park Isis- In The Absence of Truth Tool- Lateralus
Theres 5. I'd say Crack the skye, Deadwing and In the Absence of truth are the top three though. But my favorites always change too. :$
