G I Joe the movie

So unless you've been living under a rock, you should know that a G.I. Joe movie is coming out, and I was wondering what your opinions on it are. I personally think that it looks nothing like G.I. Joe at all, I mean I've never seen them wear giant metal suits. Ever.

Now not to say that it can't be a good movie, it does look like it has a lot of action and maybe a decent plot, but I think that's the only bad thing about it. Your opinions? :afro:

I don't really know if a movie is good or bad unless i see it, but ya those bulky metal suits look shitty.

The amount of action makes me want to watch it. But then it also looks like a stupid movie so I'm kind of torn.

Maybe I'll watch it. I just won't pay for it!

It looks like one of those actions movies that would just be all action and no character development. I don't know. I won't be seeing it in theaters.

That's what I was thinking. A lot of action but no real substance.

Eh. I don't really look for much character development except if I'm watching some romance movie. I mean I don't really see explosions and romance in the same genre.

Doesn't look that great imo.

The retro G I Jo cartoons were the best.

I think the movie is going to be total shit, but only time will tell.
I will probably end up going to it though.

I'm pretty sure it's already come out in Australia, can't be bothered to go and see it though.

It reminds me of Crysis, mainly because of their suits :/

I think if they were doing GI Joe it'd have to be in like a fictional war, not in futuristic MJOLNIR suits.

I think it looks silly, but then again most modern films do.

Probably going to see it sometime this weekend. It looks kind of shitty, but I may like it anyway. Early reviews are so-so.

I hope the acting is good, but then again it's probably going to be full of BABOOM and very little "Know is half the battle"

I still don't get it. The whole G I Joe thing.

I saw the movie yesterday. And I think it's fucking awesome. 2 hours of action. If you expect something intelligent with a complex plot, you will hate. Like Transformater 2 , the movie is only explosions, guns and hot sluts.

Apparently it's real bad. I've heard one person say it's worse than Transformers 2.

I saw it, I'd say it was terrible. A lot of special effects were half assed, and the action had no gore to it. If someone dies or gets hurt, they just fall behind the camera. In addition, the love stories were completely cheesy at every stage and comparable to something disney channel would do.

That's another thing. WHY DOES EVERY MOVIE NEED TO HAVE A FUCKING LOVE STORY. FUCK.
