Up 'til late last night.
Back aches and I need to sleep.
Work's not even done.
But I really can't complain
with her right here beside me.

Friday is now here
Dear God I need to finish
So I can get sleep.
But screw that, I'm Skyping, dude.
So I'mma stay up later.


You should write your own as well. Traditionally, they are about love or nature, but whatever. Remember, 5 syllables in the first and third lines; 7 in the second, fourth, and fifth. If you don't follow the syllable scheme, you could end up with this:

Something I Wrote when I Though 2-2-2-3-22 Was Allowed

Differ
for the
sake of
differing.
Nonconformity may mean a lot of extra work, but the final results sure are fun.



I probably like it more than the others, and I spent more time on it, but in the end it wasn't to the standards. I turned it in to my teacher anyway, and she liked it =3
